Microsoft’s Xbox Live Primetime delayed until spring

xboxliveprimetime.jpg

According to this Forbes report, Microsoft has pushed Xbox Live Primetime – its programmed series of interactive games with real-world prizes – back until spring 09.

Xbox Live Primetime was announced at E3 and was billed as an integral component of the New Xbox Experience, set for release on November 19.

Microsoft says the delay is necessary in order to ensure a smooth launch of the system’s new user interface.

We’re checking with them now.

Kotaku reckon it’s “to ensure a smooth launch of the system’s new user interface”. So… still plenty of bugs to iron out in the next month, then? :-D

I still don’t this this.

So I can play that 1vs100. I can just use google to search the answers! I’m guessing your get five seconds (at LEAST) to answer the question which is plenty of time to find the answer.

I only want 16:10 and to be able to install games to the HDD. Stuff like “xbox live primetime” can fuck off.

So, it’s just like Vista (Longhorn) when they removed all of its good new features and functionality to just put out a load of crap…

No, it’s the opposite – they left out all the crap and just included all the stuff that people are actually interested in. And the avatars.

What Blerk said – all the stuff we’re interested in is still there. Or are you actually interested in Primetime?? If so: LOL

It’s fine. This is only a couple of months, and they don’t do it with EVERYTHING, unlike Sony.
