No more TF2 updates this year, says Lombardi

Valve’s Doug Lombardi’s told Shacknews that there aren’t going to be any more Team Fortress 2 updates in 2008.

“Well, it won’t be this year,” he said. “But we’re going to keep evolving TF2. Once Left 4 Dead wraps, you’ll hear us clamouring more about [the next TF2 update].”

TF2 staffers had been moved onto Left 4 Dead in the run-up to the game’s launch, apparently.

Why oh why won’t MS let this be a free update? The Orange Box for the 360 is full of win.
