BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams trailered at end of BioShock PS3 – see it now

See here, here, here, here and here. There’s a trailer for BioShock 2 at the end of the PS3 version of BioShock on PS3. The game’s called Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams.

The trailer shows a Little Sister holding a Big Daddy plush toy while staring out to sea. It’s apparently set on the Atlantic coast.

Pat, depends what platform it leads on. All the recent multiplatforms (DeadSpace) seems to be lookign better on the PS3 becuase they lead.

The reason the game’s not out yet is because it’s a simultaneous release. The 360 version was finished 6 months ago.

Pud, Dead Space did not lead on PS3. The first half of the development was done on the 360, then they switched to the PS3. It’s certainly helped the PS3 version of the game, but it’s not a proper PS3 project.

Oh, and if you think they’re identical you need to wipe the vaseline from your monitor. (They are very close though other than the jaggies)

Yep that’s totally true. I was looking at outlines, but the AA seems to apply only when it’s against it’s own models background.

I’ve just checked through, nothing on Dead Space there. He did do Bioshock and FIFA though.

(To my eyes FIFA looks better on the PS3, Bioshock looks better on the 360)

It’s got to be set in Rapture before the “fall,” innit. Maybe during the building of Rapture? Hence the buildings comintg out of the sand.

Incidentally, a lot of the other sites are calling this a rumour. I’m trying to get an official line on it now.

I’m loving the sand shapes… interesting, very interesting… For me it’s real. Irrational have always had pretty inspiring art guys working for them… (Freedom Force anyone?) and this smells just salty enough to be true.
