Tesco sends second customer email about Saints Row price balls-up

Come on, Tesco. You can do better than this. The retailer has sent out another email to customers who bought a copy of Saints Row 2 for £16 from its website yesterday, only to be later told the firm had "not been able to obtain an item in your order". This was shortly after the price went back up to £40.

Tesco's first email said, "We apologise". This one says, "We sincerely apologise". Maybe the third one will say, "We'll give you the product we advertised at the price we advertised it at."

Nah. Course not. Thanks, ecu.

Thank you for your recent order for the Saints 2 Row PS3 game from Tesco.com.

Unfortunately, there was an error in the price at the time that you placed your order, and as a result we have had to cancel your order. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions on the Tesco.com entertainment site for further details of our acceptance policy.

If you would like to re-order the product, it is available on our website for £39.97.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Kind regards
