Premium themes now up on PS Store
According to the US PS Blog, there are now “premium themes” up on the PlayStation Store.
“These themes were created specifically for the PS3 and have special backgrounds, XMB icons and, in some cases, sounds,” says the post.

I would guess they have an overall better quality than other themes, as some can be pretty crap.
