VG247 signs deal with Giant Realm

vg247logo.jpg

Look: news about us. New York marketing agency Giant Realm announced today that it’s signed an exclusive US representation deal with VG247.

“We are providing a valuable service to media buyers by delivering scale in high-quality, highly-engaged environments,” said Giant Realm co-founder Keith Kane.

“The sites within the Giant Realm Publisher Group all have a common thread: they are for fans, by fans. They attract men who enjoy socializing with other like-minded visitors and who regularly return to their online asylum.

“Given today’s multi-tasking society, it’s critical for marketers to have an advertising vehicle such as ours that can capture their target audience’s attention quickly and effectively.”

Apparently, VG247 is “the fast-growing news service for serious gamers and industry professionals looking for a quick yet comprehensive read. The site features hard news, exclusive content, breaking stories, informed gossip and public domain information from around the world.”

Damn straight. Press release after the link.

Well y’know. Not one to blow my own trumpet or anything but… well let’s just say, those rounded corners aren’t to be underestimated when it comes to wooing potential investment. That’s all I’m saying.

I think it’s the way the flames of the “Hot” bar seep over into the heading representing unity yet still boundary between the sections.

Nice one pat! I used to go to IGN for my news, then went to Eurogamer as it was quicker at updating and quenched my thirst for gaming news but i have to say ever since i’ve found VG247 i don’t really bother with the other sites (only for the occasional review) as your site is so quick at updating, even on weekends!?!

personally my favourite bit was:

“who regularly return to their online asylum”

Used in context:

“Can you help me with the dinner love?”

“No, I want to return to my online asylum regularly”

Patlike – do you own this site?

PS Glad someone is making money today. This morning, I lost 25k when Iceland took control of Landsbanki/Icesave and there is little likelihood I’ll get it all back. Hasn’t sunk in yet.
