All SOE MMOs to appear on consoles from now on
Speaking to MTV, Sony Online Entertainment boss John Smedley has confirmed that all SOE MMOs will appear on consoles from this point on.
“Yes,” he said, when asked if this were the case.
The firm’s next biggies, DC Universe Online, has been confirmed for PS3 from the off.
Smedley said recently that SOE was looking at PSP for MMOs.

Well… it’s kind of nice, I suppose. Do console gamers really want MMOs, though? I always thought of it as an obsessive/compulsive “I only have one game” PC thing. Does the average console game have the attention span to play the same game for six months?

I guess they have access to FFXI usage data so they must think the market is there.

But Everquest 3 coming to PS3 would be pretty big.
