Epic VP Mark Rein’s flattened a rumour that EA is moving on the Gears of War developer, telling VG247 the talk is “rubbish”.
Indian site GameGuru originated the story, saying “the rumor mill strongly suggests Electronic Arts are seriously contemplating in buying out Epic Games.”
So now you know. Not true.

With the failing economy, EA will probably buy more studios than the federal reserve buys banks and insurance companies!
