Sony’s Afrika Europe bound?
French site Play3-live reckons that Sony’s game of the year candidate, Afrika, will be coming to Europe after all.
Apparently there was a Sony stand at Photokina in Cologne last week, showing the safari photo-bonanza in English. When inquisitive journalists inquired about it, they were told that the game would be releasing in Europe in 2009.
We find this news rather annoying as we’ve just ordered the import. We’ll check with Sony.

After the overwhelming demand expressed in that petition, how could they not bring the game to the West?

Heh heh. I know of at least one person who’d be happy about this.
No doubt they’ll be swapping the camera for a rifle for the American release.
