Bungie shows “Keep it Clean” teaser trailer to new project

I kinda expected something… well a little more… I dont understand

Oh. And here’s everyone thinking it’s going to be a new game. It’s some sort of Halo 3 extension then? How disappointing.

It looks like the boot sequence from Robocop, but nowhere near as good.

Got a big “meh” around the office here. I think everyone was expecting to be less confused and a bit more intrigued. “Didn’t we already have Halo 3?”

So, it’s Halo 3: DLC.

Why would they bother to pull that from the E3 conf when it would have been a nice little surprise reveal at the end? On it’s own, it’s just a bit of a meh announcement.

I just wasted a a few minutes of my life downloading and then watching this GIVE ME BACK THAT TIME I WASTED.

Just added a local version of it to the story. So you can watch it over and over again

Suggests we’ll be playing as ODSTs*, the Helljumpers. The badassiest of the badass non-augmented soldier dudes.

Those aren’t meteors, those are drop-pods.

In other words, squad-game.

UNLESS…. it’s sort of a ‘total conversion’ mod, which turns your Halo 3 into something else entirely. Although why that wouldn’t have been done as a totally separate game, I dunno. So it probably isn’t. Like.

I said AEONS ago the next Halo would be a squad thing. So colour me slightly more interested than if it’d just been some lame arsed lone wolf type of dealio.

I believe it’s been confirmed on Live that it’s an expansion to Halo 3. What that actually entails is another thing. I’m not sure if they’re able to retroactively add squad-based control though. Could be rather tricky.

The Maddie line was a rather daft idea.

Looks like people are frame-by-frame analysing this thing already.

Very strange. I really like the graphical style of the trailer though.

If that’s in-game graphics what they show in this teaser, colour me interested.

The one thing that confuses me though, is it being Halo 3 …

It’s 2D, you can see from the effects when they try to make ti collapse.

So I’m gonna go out on a limb and say it’s not ingame.

But I will say you guys shouldn’t be down on a Halo 3 expansion. That’s like gold. Don’t sweat it, it will be substantial and fun.

I doubt it’s the same person. It would have never got past MS’s anal PR people.

I’m not entirely sure how they ruined it. The trailer says Halo 3… not “New Bungie game”.
