Force Unleashed sells 1.5 million in five days

LucasArts announced last night that The Force Unleashed has moved more than 1.5 million copies worldwide since it launched last weekend.

Having been at retail for only five days, the figure is a record for the publisher.

"The record-setting sales of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed shows the undiminished power of Star Wars and its popularity across all media types, including video games," said LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez.

"We're blown away by the response."

And that's that.
