Fallout MMO confirmed, is codenamed “Project V13″

Interplay has confirmed that the Fallout MMO it talked about earlier this year is underway, and that it has an internal codename of Project V13.

The info comes from the company’s new site. Click on the “new offices” button to see for yourself.

Interplay had previously said it was seeking funds for the project: looks as though it found some.

No date. Thanks, Destructoid.

Okay, what’s going on with the Fallout license here? Do two companies own it separately or something?

I think Interplay retained the rights to do an MMO. Bethesda can only do offline stuff. That’s just from memory.
