Art students make LittleBigColossus in 24 hours

littlebigplanet17.jpg

Joystiq‘s posted up a video – after the break – of the result of the Parsons New School of Design getting its hands on LittleBigPlanet for a day.

In short, it’s a huge monster level you jump around then set off some rockets at the end. It’s actually a bit bonkers, looking at the size of it.

So do.

It’s really good.

Taking the quality of this into account and considering I can’t even be bothered to scribble a level on paper for that EG compo, I think I may as well lay to rest any possibility that I’ll ever make anything with LBP. I’m just too damn lazy.

I’m sure I’ll have a fiddle with it, but I can’t see myself dedicating anything like the amount of time it took them to do that.

I’ll never make anything. The missus might though.

Still struggling to get hyped about this game at all. Just seems so… novelty.

I’m playing this with my lady shape. I reckon it should be fun coming up with stuff together.

Given it’s a days work it’s pretty impressive. The level idea is really quite a good one. Obviously they needed a lot more time to make it fun and good to actually play.

There is some really interesting surprising stuff in the game you can just muck about with and not even build a level. There is plenty of fun to be had making little toys for me.
