Kitase: Final Fantasy XIII “scenario is pretty much complete”
Australia’s Official PlayStation Magazine – as relayed by FinalFantasy-XIII.net – got some time with FFXIII dev boss Yoshinori Kitase recently, who confirmed that the RPG’s story is essentially done.
“The scenario is pretty much complete and the artistic side is about 80 percent complete,” he said.
And the promise of a 360 version isn’t going to get in the way of the PS3 game. So don’t go fretting.
“The team is looking to specialize it for the PS3 so that the game will be maximized [for that console], and then they will port it over to the 360 and utilize the capabilities of that console,” Kitase added.
Thanks, PS3F.

The scans make it sound like it’s still PS3 timed exclusive.
Is this a fact?

It’s releasing first on PS3 in Japan, then simultaneously on PS3 and 360 in the West ‘sometime later’. i.e. once they’ve actually finished the 360 version and translated the whole shebang. Looking forward to seeing it sometime before the end of the generation. Probably towards the end. Somewhere.
