I just can't see Sony being ready to release PS4 in 2012. They seem committed to ensuring that PS3 has a long life span, and the surest way to curtail that is by launching new hardware.

I've got a feeling that we won't see a repeat of last gen, where we get three new consoles within a year of each other, I think each company will be taking things at their own pace, which could of course make the life of developers particularly tricky.

Jesus, I've got a monster machine and Crysis is barely playable at 2560x1600 on very high.
