Fracture

  • Fracture demo for September 18

According to this Shacknews report, the demo for LucasArts’ Fracture will release for both 360 and PS3 on September 18. Apparently the taster’s just going to include a touch of the single-player game, but you’ll be able to see how the terrain transformation works at least.

  • New Fracture video and screenshots released

Below is Seth Benton, senior multiplayer lead on Fracture, telling you all just how amazing the multiplayer component of the game is going to be – and we agree with him. Also, Gamespot has some new screenshots to peruse. Treat yourselves, it’s Friday.

Mercenaries 2: World In Flames

  • EA to close more online servers

EA’s announced it is going to close more online servers for its games.

  • Free Mercenaries 2 DLC now on Live

That Mercenaries 2 content we saw a video of this morning? It’s on Live now, and it’s free. Nelson says so. Blowing things up was never cheaper. Aside from the time you were forced to inflate your parents’ air-bed on that camping trip 25 years ago. Sorry.
