Burnout Paradise PS3 bikes patch out now, 360 within hour (update)
The Burnout Paradise bikes patch is now live for PS3 in Europe, and is though to be going live for 360 within the hour.
Some users are apparently claiming the NTSC version’s shipped, but we’re still trying to verify that.
Update: It’s gone live on 360 now. More here.
Update 2: You can watch a full bike challenge being raced in this movie.

“Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Oh, won’t you please take me home!”

Have just played the PS3 version. Love the day/night cycle.
And yes 360 update wasn’t available when I tried that.

So good!
The immersion using first person and the motion control is incredible.

Motion control bikes ??
/win
So are we to assume that developers are getting to grips with the motion stuff on PS3 now? Thinking of this and WipeOut HD in particular.

Simulating bike control with an analogue stick has resulted in player interfaces that need to be learned and feel disjointed from actually controlling a bike.
Allowing a little more finesse with tilt input that tweaks your rider’s balance could go some way to rectifying that.
