Rumour: Life with PlayStation now live (update)

lifewithplaystation.jpg

According to this thread on the US PS Boards, Life with PlayStation is now Live.

The Folding@home icon on the PS3 dash has now been replaced with a Life with PlayStation symbol, according to reports.

Just checking this now.

Update: Well, we can’t get it to appear, but there is a Folding@home update there. Should see some videos soon if it’s legit.

Update 2: We’ve just checked European, Japanese and US accounts, and we can’t see any sign of it.

Update 3: Something’s going on. There’s a video of it working after the break.

Until that story last week about why it was delayed, I’d completely forgotten that they’d even announced it. Such was my excitement.

I seriously can’t find anything to do with it on the dash. I think someone’s been telling porkies.

I’ve just updated my Firmware to 2.42 and I’d already done the Folding@home update. Still nothing.

Yep, same here. No updates for F@H are showing as available. I reckon it’s been released then pulled

Going off what people are saying on the GameSpot forums it must have been pulled; some people in the US have got it, whilst others who tried to DL it after (informed by those who DL’ed it earlyer) cant, people in europe on the other hand have yet to have the option it seems.

Do people still use Folding@home?

Definitely nothing. Deleting and reinstalling F@H brings back v1.31

And yes, JY, some of us do use F@H

So… it’s the Wii’s Weather and News channels rolled into one?

it was up due to a mistake they made while testing.
