IGN gives Pure 8.6/10

IGN’s posted its review of Disney ATV racer Pure, giving it a substantial 8.6/10. Snip:

Pure delivers an outrageous, arcadey off-road racing experience with style and slickness. The controls are intuitive, the tracks are pure eye candy and the tricks are so crazy and over-the-top that you’ll find yourself gasping with glee when you land your first Lazy Girl. Although it’s a blast to play, it’s not the deepest game out there, and we found ourselves wishing for just a few more modes, tracks and options to round out the experience. But overall, Pure is just pure fun, and that’s what it’s all about.

The only other online review at the moment is a 9/10 from GamePlayer.

Couldn’t agree more with the review.

Even so, this gen still hasn’t got a killer off-road racer.

“Even so, this gen still hasn’t got a killer off-road racer”

Exactly so – I really hoped this one would be the one – but the demo disappointed me. It’s a good racer, no question. But I want a proper MTX ( which imo was the best online quad biker / off roader of the last gen )on current consoles using them to their limits. So far, it just hasn’t happened.

I’ve got my eye on Baja but still not holding my breath :(
