But short of EG removing their 360 section I don’t think you’d be persuaded otherwise on their bias.

The Leipzig examples are basically such because only Sony announced anything, or had an obvious showcase.

And I can’t find the Microsoft Event Live Blog either.

I think we’re wasting our time either way. I think you will be convinced I am delusional always. But really it’s subjective. And I can’t see any other proof that there isn’t a bit of editor specific bias about on Eurogamer.

And the only other thing I can say, is I have never said this about any other media outlet. It’s why I think it’s a bit unprecedented to say I am delusional. Not only that but I recognise when there is some impartiality TOWARDS the PS3 elsewhere at IGN for example.

You dismiss that xbox article because it’s old, but we’ve seen articles running either way, time and time again. The point is that you see the critical PS3 articles and you take note… you’re bound to because you care about the console. You don’t pay any attention to the critical 360 articles because you couldn’t care less about MS.

It’s like forgetting that someone has agreed with you 100 times because they disagreed with you twice. Go and take a close look at their liveblogs for instance… they’re ALL written in that snarky style that says everything sucks. It’s just the way they do it.

An article on the Xbox 360 at it’s launch in ’05 . As I said in another comment section, consoles always have bad launches, and the PS3 wasn’t even out then. Little did they know the PS3 would have an even worse launch.

I think that it’s all subjective ultimately (as you said), but their infrequent lack of impartiality certainly wouldn’t affect scores, nor do I think I have seen it in a review. Afterall they are the ones who recognsie ‘PS3lol’ as a term .

Could it be, just possibly that certain things impress certain people and other things don’t? Or perhaps that you’re letting your own bias cloud your opinions… I mean, for such a biased site I feel it’s a little strange that EG awarded Sony wins for 7 out of 11 categories for their Games Convention showing.
