Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway has gone gold and will be at retail, as planned, on September 23 in the US.

The Gearbox WWII shooter looks to be gory, as was shown in a new video tonight.

US, September 15, 2008 – Today Ubisoft and Gearbox Software announce that Brothers In Arms: Hell’s Highway for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system has gone gold and will ship to stores in North America on September 23, 2008.

    I got put off this a few months back after an interview where the lead designer talked about respecting those who were actually in the war and in the same breath talked about the “awesome coolness*” of their gory, slo-mo, limb removal engine**. didn’t sit well with me somehow.
