Team17’s confirmed to VG247 this afternoon that an Alien Breed remake will release next year, although you’re going to have to wait for further details.
That’s the game’s official logo. More soon, hopefully.
Cool it was such a good amiga game especially frantically trying to find the exit with the self destruct going off in the background.
Probably a PSN/XBLA title which I hope brings Team17 more success they’ve doing worms games for so long just to pay the bills they must be sick of it by now.
For those worried about an FPS the last Alien Breed games were FPS’s and dam good ones too so even if they did go down that path its nothing to worry about.

“Yay, Space Marines.”
Except now they’re cynically dragging in fans of a long forgotten Amiga game.
Video. Games. Are. Shit.

You’re late to the party. Spadge confirmed this to EG forumites a couple of weeks back.

OMG, finally! I almost cried when I learned that they couldn’t find a publisher for Alien Breed 2K4.
Guess this will be an XBLA/PSN game then?

All we know right now is that it’s digital distribution.

If this anything to do with the game ‘Breed’!?
That was a great post HALO:CE game FPS. And it ended on a massive cliffhanger.
I hope to god that it is. No matter how shallow, I can tell my friend, he will like it regardless.

This was such a good game on the Amiga. I hope it will be a real remake, so no conversion to a FPS.
