Ratchet & Clank: Future Quest for Booty Blu-ray canned in UK?
According to this BritishGaming.co.uk piece, Ratchet & Clank: Future Quest for Booty won’t be releasing on Blu-ray in the UK.
The game was originally planned as a disc version for the highly attractive price of £9.99.
Just checking this with Sony now.

MCV reports that Sony denies these claims, not sure what’s going on here really.

Canned? Surely a game what is canned is not coming out at all. Simply deciding not to release a box copy isnt being canned is it?

So, cancelled in the UK, but still coming out in the rest of Europe it seems:

Odd decision really.

That’s why it says “Blu-Ray canned” and not just “canned” in the article title, Newbie.

I did, but I still don’t think its canned. Its just not being released for Blu-Ray… IIIRC they never said it would be out in the UK anyway, they didnt mention any regions (IMO)

C&VG are saying that Sony has confirmed this to be true now.
