Most of us are from the UK right?
We should all hang our heads in shame. I am over the period of grieving for the families of the victims and victims themselves of the 5/10′s but really, if a game is bad you don’t buy it!

Technically it’s full of bugs and such, but I’ve read on forums that they don’t affect the gameplay and it’s a lot of fun to play. So shush.
And WiiFit is still in there, if you’re gonna complain about one bad game in the charts complain about them all.

Down at 4, I won’t moan.
But I agree, that’s what I said to the 5′s.
But it’s still not a chart topper deserving game.

@No_Pud: 27% of us are from the States, followed by 14% Germans and you Brits come with 12.3%.
But, yes you should hang your heads in shame.

Considering how fun Mercs 2 is it seems a little daft in feeling ashamed about buying it.

Whizzo, feel ashamed, the 5′s dictate it!

The 1Up Yours guys were “wtflol”ing at EG’s 5/10 for Mercs 2 at the start of this week’s podcast.
For what it’s worth, I’ve yet to hear anyone who’s bought it say that it’s anything less than ‘great fun’. Technically flawed, yes. Shallow, yes. Ugly, yes. Fun? Most definitely.
You’ve got to wonder where you draw the line on a review score. If a game’s technically balls but still great fun… it’s still a fun game, right?

It’s the eternal debate, I guess. The game never looked like anything other than “blow shit up” when I saw it in preview builds. I’d still like to play it.

I’m with Garnett Lee on this one, it’s technically not in anyway brilliant (although the explosions and the HDR effect are great) but it’s so much damn fun that I was playing it until nearly 1:30 this morning as I had to finish the Blanco mission, blowing up an oil rig is not something I’ve ever done in a game before!
In contrast I’d spent some more time in Spore and have got really sick of how shite the space combat is and how that’s one game that really does not deserve all the plaudits it’s getting.
