Biggest LittleBigPlanet image so far posted by Media Molecule
Media Molecule just posted up an enormous montage of LittleBigPlanet shots: get it here.
The game’s hype machine is now well and truly in motion, so expect a truckload more from LBP before it releases in October.

As much as I’m excited for the game… I’m getting really turned off by the media overload.

Psychotext I totally agree.
I mean, this is awesome, and yes *right click**set as background* confirmed but there’s tons of new stuff in there that I haven’t seen before. I had even heard Steven Fry before yesterday or whenever.
Just turn up the advertising campaign and cut off the media overload, so normal people can see it on TV and in magazines, rather than stuffing it down the throats of the greedy core.

Looking at that pic has just given me yet another fucking superb idea for a level though…
All I need is a Korben / Leelo sackboy/girl

wouldn’t the obvious solution for the people who think it is overload to stop looking? Crazy idea I know, but that way the people who still want more info get it, and those who don’t … don’t.

I like the way big games get completely pumped up. GTA was mental. Never seen anything like it.

Is that why GTA4 is still the biggest font in the ‘tags’ box? I surmise that’s supposed to update automatically and it isn’t just that you forgot to press the button lately.

Heh. Nah, it’s automatic. I published hundreds of GTA stories in the end. I’ve got 94 GTA IV images cut for stories on my hard drive, and I published loads without pictures. And I’ve reused a bunch of them. That last week before it came out was completely bonkers.

I remember. Ah, the good old days.
I still haven’t played it.

Feel lucky for it.
Until you play it, you don’t realise what a let down it is.
I am such a purist, I thought a return to Liberty City would be awesome, because EVERY element about GTAIII is better than any other GTA game. Right down to the intro music.
Nevermind.

I was definitely underwhelmed.
