Left 4 Dead gets tweaked release date
Valve’s Doug Lombardi has just told Left 4 Dead 411 that the game will be released in the US on November 18 and Europe on November 21, and not November 20 as previously reported.
The site also points out that the new dates coincide with Half Life’s 10 year anniversary, so make sure you’ve got the jelly and ice-cream at the ready.

At Valve, a random dev: “Hey guys its Half Life’s 10 year anniverary soon, what should we do about it?”
Lombardi: “DAMN!!! I HATE THE PS3!! I dont know, it has to be something Valve style; Half-arsed, i know shift around release dates and we’ll just say L4D is our anniversary present, did i mention HOW MUCH THE PS3 SUCKS?!!!”

You again?
You know it’s their decision what they dislike and don’t develop for, in the same way it’s your prerogative to mope around comments sections writing awful satire. You clearly want Left 4 Dead to be so bitter, go and buy a 360.
And to be honest Valve are awesome developers, so we’ll tell you when they make a not so great game and you can try the satire again then. Have you tried Portal? It is … Pure amazingness.

I already own a 360, and yes i have tried Portal (because i own the Orange Box as it just so happens on 360), and yes its well written and has a nice concept but like most, if not all of Valves games its just Half Life in a different setting…
