All mention of Ghostbusters wiped from Gamestop

ghostbustersa.jpg

According to this Kotaku piece, Ghostbusters pre-orders have been cancelled at Gamestop and full refunds are being issued.

It also looks as though the Terminal Reality title has been delisted at the retailer.

Not looking so good. The game was a casualty of the Activision Blizzard merger. Someone publish this, please.

So, there is finally one game with an elaborate story and lots of love in it. Guess what happens?

SCE should just publish it. Do they even know that it’s theirs?

I don’t think SCE feel the need to fund a random shooter – action adventure game. They have plenty of those on their console already.

No matter how passion filled the developers are.

It’s not “random” though, is it?

I thought it was. It’s not a Sony film (not that that would make any difference), and there’s tons of other developers with projects that they can’t afford.

It’s a tiny bit random to fund this project in my book.

Amazon UK still list it and are saying it will be released on the 1st of October. Not that Amazon is the most reliable source but still.
