New The Conduit footage from GC08

After the drop. High Voltage software has put out some new footage of The Conduit at Games Convention in Leipzig.

The shooter scooped loads of awards at E3 earlier this year and this new video goes some way to showing why.

Check it out.

Er… it does? That looks pretty crappy. Not even as nice as Metroid. Some of the scenery is horribly ‘flat’.

Not bad for a Wii title you can expect miracles but that looks about the best you can do on the Wii given it’s limitations.

They should really try to support the Wii Motionplus to improve the reticule aim.

Just thought it looked very smooth with lots going on. Let’s be honest, if you’ve got a Wii you’re not going to get much better than this in terms of an all out FPS are you.

The more I see of this, the more I like it.

Can’t say I’m that blown away by the graphics tbh, it looks on par with Red Steel to be honest, but moves a lot smoother with more action on screen.

Has this got any sort of release date attached?

Yeah, Metroid’s a much nicer-looking game for my money. I’m not just talking in terms of design, either – it’s technically superior.
