GC08: Konami announces GTI Club + for PSN

Konami has just announced GTI Club +, a remake of the classic 1996 PC racer GTI Club. The game will be released exclusively on PSN this November.

It has been given an HD overhaul and supports eight player on-line multiplayer. No price as yet.

I absolutely loved this in the arcade. Pass the bomb mode was fantastic. 1996 is making me feel quite old.

Very old. I think I would still rather have the actual arcade machine than a PS3 though :/

Konami also announced ‘Lords of Shadow’ for 360/PS3, being developed by Mercury Steam for release in 2010. Teaser trailer here looks sort of like God of War meets Castlevania.

Well I’ll be buggered! This was one of my all time favourite arcade racers – Handbraking round corners in the mini just felt right…!

Wow…if they get the multiplayer right, this could be golden.
