There are too many developers / publishers out there merely content with wanting "the next WoW" - and Funcom obviously thought that sticking a few measly bits of content into Conan would keep people interested long enough in order for them to stop smoking cigars and shagging hookers and doing blow for long enough for them to develop the next batch of paid-for content. Sadly gamers are a fickle bunch, and Conan is now a tumble-weed and chatty yank-infested wasteland. I'd actually like to see a lot more MMOs fail and die on their arse to try and get devs and publishers over the hump of producing lacklustre games but it doesn't seem to be happening. You know the phrases though - there's one born every minute / a fool and his/her money are soon parted. Hmm, won’t happen.
