Star Trek Online set in 2409
Cryptic creative boss Jack Emmert has just confirmed that Star Trek Online is to be set in 2409, 30 years after Star Trek Nemesis.
“In the coming months we’re going to be updated our website year by year,” said Emmert.
He’s detailing the game at the moment, and you can watch it live from Las Vegas .

Awesome.
This could be the Star Trek game I’ve been waiting for. It has such a rich universe, it really deserves a decent game.

They’ve just put the trailer up. Story at top of site. It honestly looks wicked.

Excellent stuff. It will be great to carry on the trek story in the current Universe. I was rather disappointed that the new film was going to be a re-boot, so this should hit the spot nicely.
Also noticed that the website says “coming to PC and consoles”, fingers are tightly crossed for a PS3 release.
I’ve always resisted the allure of MMO’s, this, The Agency and DC Universe online all look excellent – bye bye real world
