Japanese hardware sales, week ending July 27

I don’t understand why those things keep selling. Do they all break? Hmm.. guess the simple answer is there’s such a lot of people.

I just dissed myself.

What I find weird is that roughly the same amount of people buy them every week. How does that happen?

How many weeks until the PS2 starts outselling the PS3 again, then? I’m thinking… two or three.

Isn’t Vesperia out this week? Be interesting to see how the 360 does hardware-wise off the back of that.

You know, I often wonder about that myself. I’m sure it makes perfect mathematical sense, but there’s so little movement in the average sales, it’s spooky to look at.

Looks like Vesperia did 70k games and 10k bundles first day. Unless the PS3 gets a bump you’ll likely see the 360 outdo it on hardware next week.

Seems MS should have provided a few more bundles… but I guess they didn’t want to take the risk.

Looks like 5,500, or there abouts, is the 360′s new level of sales over there. Better, but not exactly setting the world alight.

Heh. “360 outsells PS3 in Japan”. The headline no one ever thought they’d write.

If Psycho’s right, yeah. Might have to stay up next week to see.

NPD first though, and 360 will outsell PS3 for damn sure. Nice pricecut excellent fall lineup.
