EA developing Left 4 Dead for PS3?

According to this Destructoid piece, the Official PlayStation Mag (presumably in the US) is reporting that Left 4 Dead is coming to the PS3, with Electronic Arts developing.
Valve had previously said that it had no plans to release a PS3 version of the multiplayer zombie shooter, and would only work on the game for PC and 360.
If true, the news is likely to raise the eyebrows of many, especially after EA looked after a less than stellar PS3 port of Valve's Orange towards the end of last year.
