Sony launches PS3 Firmware 2.42

According to this US PlayStation Blog post, Firmware 2.42’s launched for PS3. It sounds like a minor fix.

“This update improves the playback quality of some PlayStation 3 and PlayStation format software,” said PSN director Eric Lempel.
