The most anticipated Star Wars game in years - The Force Unleashed - is coming soon, with a PSN/XBL demo coming even sooner. Matt Shell, Marketing Manager at LucasArts, says we should mark our calendars for August - though for now, you’d be best served circling the whole month.
To make up for the lack of a concrete date, Shell noted that the demo will feature a unique ending, since “Coming Soon!” and a list of bullet points don’t really offer much in the way of closure. Even more enticing, the ending will be demo-only, while the retail release will likely continue the game in a more traditional manner.
The Force Unleashed looks to be shaping up nicely, and we’ll be sure to let you know when the demo lands.

man I’m stoked about this game. I’m not even a big Star Wars nerd (but a big fan) and I can’t wait to play it. I hope it lives up to the hype.
