Speaking with Videogamer, Markus Wilding, 2K’s international PR director, said that no information on Bioshock 2 will be released until the original’s PS3 version hits the shelves in October.
“There’s not,” said Wilding when asked about any new info an the sequel. “There will be, obviously, but it will take a while.
“We’re not talking about it just yet because right now it’s BioShock PS3 – that’s what everybody is concentrating on,” he said. “Once we’re in full effect on BioShock 2 we’ll talk about it.”
Finally he added: “The only thing I can say for sure is not before BioShock PS3 ships.”

Looking forward to this one. I hope they fix all the problems the original had.

I’m looking forward to it, too. Although I didn’t think the original had any problems.

I found that since I played it, I’ve slowly filtered out the little niggles, and remembered all the great things about it. The atmosphere was something very special indeed.
The plasmids/combat system could really do with a lot of work though. Same for the hacking.

yeah hacking got bloody tedious. needs changing or just removing.
but crikey that game is brilliant. if bioshock 2 sorts out the few issues here and there bioshock had then it could easily get GOTY.
can’t wait!

So… what do we think on the idea of it being multiplatform?

I don’t really see how it could be anything but a good thing.
(Until the Wii gets hold of it, then I’ll hate it forever)

If I buy Bioshock and it’s rubbish you’re all in big trouble.
