Tomb Raider: Underworld gets release date
According to this CVG report, Eidos has confirmed a November 21 release date for Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Americans will get Lara’s latest a few days earlier, on November 18.
The game is to be shown at E3 later this week, and is slated for release on PC, PS3, 360, PS2, Wii and DS.

Woo.
Please be more like Anniversary than Legend. Surely they’ve learned by now that we want less shooting, less stupid vehicle sections and definitely less retarded fucking headset chatter spoiling the atmos.
Just dump us in a tomb with lots of puzzles please. You may include some bats if you really must.

I want Legend style Lara, that was the best Tomb Raider game I’ve ever played.
Much sooner than I expected, I really thought it’d be early next year, to be honest.

Really? Better than TR1 and Anniversary? I guess we have very different opinions about what bits are good about TR.
I thought Legend was just horrible. The few all-too-short sequences when you’re actually alone with just the ruins and the puzzles for company (and the twats on the headset shut up for once and let you soak up the atmosphere) aren’t good enough or long enough to redeem what is mostly just a terrible game.
