PS3 Bioshock “exclusive features” for GTTV on Monday

Geoff Keighley, speaking on his blog, has confirmed that GameTrailers TV will air first details of the new features in the PS3 version of Bioshock on Monday.

“Another game set to debut on the show is BioShock PlayStation 3,” said the presenter. “Now I know what you’re thinking… ’Why are you guys making a big deal out of a port?’ Well I can’t spoil the surprise just yet, but let me tell you there is way more to this game than you might think. There have been hints about some ‘exclusive features’ in the game and on Monday night I’ll finally reveal the details on Spike – and of course show you the first real gameplay footage from the PS3 version. Believe me, this is going to get people talking!”

We’ll let you know when it goes live.

Another sub-par graphics port. They better beef it up with a lot of stuff.

I thought the rumour was that the graphics were as good/better than the 360 version, but the framerate was worse?

Right now the graphics are supposed to be the same.

@ecu

The screen shots shown at native 720P show that they are so far blurring the crap out the visual by merging frames to hide a high level of jagged-ness. At best they can hope to sorta-match the 360 build.

They’ve brought in the extra dev since these shots too, though I’m not sure what they are expected to do.
