Pat, there you go again. You do actually PLAY games now and again don’t you?

Echochrome would’ve been bluddy brilliant if it’d just been an Ant Attack 3D clone.

But it’s not, it’s a crap puzzle game that’s as dull and boring as printing out ascii porn and sticking it on colleague’s cube walls…

I got suckered in by the hype. I genuinely thought it’d be this year’s Portal. But for one, it’s a bit too pleased with itself. And secondly, the jumping just kills it, because you can happen upon solutions just by spinning the levels madly. And it’s fiddly, too. Especially the level editor.

Genuinely one of my biggest disappointments of 2008. Can’t see why it’s getting such great scores other than the fact it’s original.
