Famitsu estimates Wii overtook PSP in Japan last week
The Famitsu hardware estimates are in, and it looks as though Wii outsold PSP in Japan last week.
Here’s the list. We’ll see final figures tomorrow. Last week’s final data’s here.
- Wii: 65,000
- PSP: 55,000
- DS: 48,000
- PS3: 13,500
- PS2: 6,500
- 360: 4,500

how reliable are these figures or are they just predictions?

Those are the Famitsu guesstimates. The Media Create figures are th ones you want, although I’m no expert. Those will be about right, though.

360 seems to be solidly around the 5,000 mark again. Although compared to the other consoles it’s nothing it’s still a 100% rise from around a month ago and has maintain that figure for around two weeks. I wonder why that is.

morriss – could be Squeenix revealing Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant coming to 360 way before PS3. Signing up all these RPGs could well be starting to have an effect.
Not sure why Wii’s up this week, though. I mean, no-one’s buying it for Biohazard 0 are they?
