New Fable 2 screenshots released

Lionhead has released some new fantastic looking Fable 2 screenshots and Gamersyde has them. There are some old ones in there too, but we don’t mind.

What are you waiting for?

Fable 2 will be released on Xbox 360 later this year.

    Environments look lovely, but, like the original Fable, I just can’t stand the character designs. They don’t work for me at all, they just look awful and it’s really off-putting.

    I think I’ve said this a few times already but I really like the character designs. Sick of identikit UE3 chars and they look pretty good in the vids I’ve seen. :)

    Me too. I just don’t like these. They aren’t proportioned right, and they all look really ugly and weird, and short and stumpy. Not saying the designs are bad, I just don’t like them myself. It’s the same with anything by Akira Toriyama. I can’t watch DBZ or play DQVIII, the designs make me want to vomit, that’s how much I dislike them. I seriously cannot stand to look at them. The only think he’s done that I liked was Chrono Trigger.

    Can’t wait for this - I loved everything about the first Fable, especially the gfx. Mass Effect aside,there’s been a dearth of decent western RPGs on the X360 - I tried the demo for that Kingdom Under Fire RPG, but it felt a bit clunky. With Fable 2 and Too Human coming out soon, I’m looking forward to sacking off my mates for a while.

    Yeah, but Too Human is right upo my street. I’m a huge fan of Diablo-esque hack & slash games and I really like the control scheme it eemploys. I don’t mind one bit that it’s short - that’ll give me time to play everything else out this year as well. But I recognise that I’m in a minority, for sure.
