On Joystiq. Just for completion’s sake, really. Three of these popped up this morning and had previously been seen on PS3F.

Ughhhhh… It looks like dog poo, vista and a ugly copy of ichat! Sony knows nothing of good UI design.

Truth hurts… Cough! XMB Sucks! Cough…
Seriously though XMB is a good idea, a unified presentation across multiple product lines, it’s just that Sony failed miserably in it’s design and implementation.

I like the XMB, heaps better then the 360′s interface

Meh… they all do their job. I don’t see how anyone can get particularly excited about them one way or another.
But then again, I’m not a mac user or graphic designer.

Psychotext you dont need to be a mac user or graphic designer to enjoy the beauty and functionality of a well designed UI
, A good UI is consistent, transparent and easy to navigate, then good looking and slick.
I agree with some that the 360 blade UI is not intuitive at times, but it is well integrated and full featured throughout. XMB on the other hand always seems way to minimalistic and barren. But yeah… both UI’s have their own issues.

I spend so little time on them that they’re irrelevant to me. I’d be surprised if it was 1% of the time I use the console.
