Win Bourne HMV special edition on PS3, 360, t-shirts, THE RESPECT OF YOUR FRIENDS

bourneprizes.jpg

Sierra’s very kindly stumped up six copies of the HMV special edition of The Bourne Conspiracy, each with a t-shirt, to give away to VG247 readers in celebration of the fact the High Moon Studios game is out today.

This edition includes a extra CD and DVD of Paul Oakenfold music, so it’s well definitive. We caned the game last night and had a jolly good time kicking the living shit out of millions of gruff men, thank you very much – review’s on its way – so you should probably want to win one. Why wouldn’t you?

All you have to do is debase yourself by answering the following question in the comments below.

Q: Bourne is the perfect weapon. He’s a tool of the state. A perfect tool. Why are you a perfect tool?

For clarity, each winner gets:

  • A copy of the game
  • A t-shirt

We’ll announce the lucky few next week. Don’t forget to tell us if you want the 360 or PS3 version. All the t-shirts are large. We don’t care where you live. We’ll pay for stamps. Do bear in mind this is the PAL version, though. Good luck!

I’ll let someone else win this one. :-D

I’m trying to play through it as fast I can to get the review done, and it’s great fun. Some quirks, but forgivable ones. Haven’t got to the driving yet, though.

If you want to know why I’m the perfect tool ask Blerk.

Oh and it doesn’t matter that the PS3 version is PAL, innit. Region free an’ all that.

Because, I replied to this post, and don’t feel a hint of shame, in having done so!
PS3.

That may easily be enough, SH.

Can somebody please reassure me that EDGE’s Bourne review (they’ve given it a 4) is bobbins. Loved the demo and I’ve bought it on that strength, so was surprised at the low score.

Because I don’t care about the game or the t-shirt.

I’m enjoying it, Robo. I wish I was playing it now, tbh.

I enjoyed the demo and picked up a copy of the US version from Play-Asia (it’s region free) for £28.

Playing it on Agent it was pretty tricky at times and kept me entertained for a decent length of time, the fighting is great, the shooting is tough and the driving is terrible! So it’s just as well that there’s only one driving section.

If you play through it on Trainee level it’s a hell of a lot easier than the other difficulties so don’t play it on that, it’s Jason Bourne with stabilisers on.

I’m still in Australia (most overrated country ever…) and the internet is expensive if you are not in one of the 6 major cities. :)

I’ve been reading quite a bit though.

I’ll be back home soon though.

I must be the perfect tool, because I’ve been used by both the Swiss Army and MacGyver.

I’m the perfect tool of my wife, not only do I cook, clean AND do the washing up, I also bought her puzzle quest, which satisfies her like no man ever could. She can piss off with the ironing mind.

360 please!

(oh! and my second name is O’Toole, does that win points?).

Syrok: Nice. I lived over there for a year. Fun, but I didn’t want to stay.

Great tools answers here, chaps. I promise you I’m a bigger tool than all of you, so don’t be shy.

There was a young fellow from Poole
Who wished for a much bigger “tool”
He bought from the ‘net
But what did he get?
A 12-inch screwdriver, the fool.

Thanks guys. :)

I have to say this is much better than any EG random-winner-drawn-out-of-a-virtual-hat compo that the people who actually read and post on the site have virtually no chance of winning.

I feel slightly guilty though because I don’t actually have either a 360 or a PS3. Does it make me a bad person if I just go and trade this for Super Smash Bros: Brawl instead? Actually, if any of the regulars really want this and would like to do a swap, I’m up for that.

There once was a man from Poole,
Who was convinced he had a very large tool.
He went to the park,
and got it out for a lark,
but was nicked for being a pedophilic fool.

The last line falls apart. \o/

I too am a tool of the state, working for the DfT (Department for Tools). We basically watch over all of the tools in the UK making sure they behave themselves and adding any offending tools to the Tool Register. It is a very exciting and dynamic job.

You can see the tool register for yourself at http://www.screwfix.com just in case you want to check up on your neighbour’s tools. You can never be too sure.

Yes, I am the perfect tool
I’m always on top of the ball
I fight away the ghouls
The ladies? Well they just drool
Especially when I emerge from the pool
No one dares to call me a fool
If they do, I turn them blue

I’ve surprised I’ve made this rhyme
Although it’s taken an awfully long time
I can’t seem to stop
And my brains beginning to rot
Before I decide to flee
I’d like it on the three-six-tee!
