New Disgaea 3 screenshots released

Over at Watch Impress. They look pretty terrible to us, to be honest but it’s all about the gameplay, right? And that’s pretty darn hardcore.

Oh! Disgaea 2 characters!

I have to grudgingly agree on the ‘looks bad’ thing. I was really hoping they’d take the next-gen opportunity to redraw all their sprites. Against the hi-def backgrounds they look a bit wonky. :-(

The three characters shown seem to be DLC judging by the Hong Kong PSN store. They’re available on there for HKD14 each (which is about a quid).
