360 price dropping to $299.99 on July 6?
According to this Engadget piece, a K-Mart brochure image is circulating showing an Xbox 360 at $299.99, dated June 6. Nothing official yet, but pressure’s really mounting on an E3 cut now. Take a look.

Would be nice to know which machine that is at $299 as well. Premium, Core, Arcade, Elite, Pro etc, etc …
If it’s just a core then it’s only a little less than current prices isn’t it?
I had a RROD the other day whilst the machine was sat off but recharging a pad. Turned it off and on and it’s been fine but I’ve got “the worry” now. Would probably pick up and elite and pass on my current one to my bruv if it did go (once repaired by the lovely people at MS of course).

It’s the premium.

And they were (still are, actually) $349 before.

Amazon.com indicates Core = $280 and Premium = $350 – so presumably this is the Premium.

Ta Blerk
. What did the last $50 price cut translate to here? It was a bit variable by machine I seem to remember. Probably about £30 I guess.

This is their version of the price cut we got a few months back – they didn’t get one then. So I wouldn’t expect a Euro price cut just yet, although I’d be very surprised if they don’t have the Premium price-matching the Wii before Christmas.

The Premium (including some games) already matches the Wii in the UK, if you look in the right place, which is pretty good going.

One more before I go: these pictures should pretty much clear up those rumours.
