“Stay tuned” on Uncharted 2, says Naughty Dog

uncharted.jpg

We thought we’d drop Naughty Dog a line to ask about how the yet unconfirmed sequel to the Playstation 3 game, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, was shaping up. The response we got lead to more questions than answers.

“We can’t say right now. Stay tuned,” said a Naughty Dog rep.

Read into that what you will. We won’t do it for you.

I didn’t find much a problem with tearing on Uncharted…

“Tearing” was real bad in UDF, no doubt about this.
But apart from this, it was one of the best games I ever played in 10 years.

The sequel of UDF is #2 on my most wanted list, right after Killzone 2! :)

Wft are you guys talking about? You must have crappy TV’s or a poor HDMI cable. I NEVER experienced any tearing. None at all.

bugmenot: There’s tearing in Uncharted… though it’s not the worst title for it.

No. Nowhere near the worst, tbh.

It wasn’t just the tearing that pissed me off. The setting was awesome – I can’t get enough of mysterious tropical islands…the background graphics were lush. Even Nathan Drake wasn’t too irritating a character but jaysus, the puzzles were like infant-school stuff. Even the last couple of Tomb Raiders did the whole puzzle thing better.

And way too much shooting. Way way too much. Like about 60% too much.

Apparently Uncharted 2 was “kind of” announced – though not by Sony – back on January 2.

A quick google of….wait for it….Uncharted 2 will tell you that.
