Halo 3 campaign kill count exceeds population of earth

halo311.jpg

There’s probably something very profound about this, but we have no idea what it is. According to this thread on the Bungie forum, there have been more kills made in the Halo 3 campaign than there are people alive in the world.

Apparently, Bungie’s calculated that 6,719,996,560 characters have been gunned down in the game, while the estimated population of the earth is 6,705,066,871.

Just goes to show. Not sure what, but it does, doesn’t it?

Perhaps that we’ve got the wrong balance between screwing, and playing video games?

I can imagine the scene, as the human race lies dead… there’s one annoying twat left running around squeaking “I’m tea-bagging you, I’m tea-bagging you!”

Now if only the population of Earth could kill all the Halo 3 players.

I still haven’t played it. That’s bad. This and CoD4. Bad.

I still haven’t played CoD4 either. Only interested in the campaign though.

Not playing Halo 3 yet though is a crime, Pat.

I haven’t played COD4, either. I only care about the campaign mode, and I didn’t think it was worth it for 9 hours of gameplay.
