Atari just confirmed by email that a 360 demo of Alone in the Dark will be released in the near future.
“The Alone in the Dark Xbox 360 demo is currently being finalized and will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace in the coming weeks,” said a rep.
We’re just asking what you can expect to get in the taster, so more soon, hopefully.

Did anyone get this, then?
patlike said:
Nope.

Which is probably why they’re hurrying out a demo!
patlike said:
I’m going to try the demo, definitely.

I expect them to release the first one or two chapters as a demo. Which, quite frankly, are the reason for most of the threes and fours, I reckon.
cheers,
Alex

Seems to be the way to do things at the mo. Lacklustre first-week sales – rush out a demo but not before the game’s release just in case more mug punters who accidentally buy games from Zavvi based on the box art might pick it up.

Another Danish site gave it 5/10. In case anyone still cares about review scores.
Blerk said:
It’s currently at 69/100 on Metacritic. Not quite the triple-A that Phil promised us.
Edit: And there don’t appear to be any reviews at all of the Wii version. What’s that all about, then?
pjmaybe said:
Could just be that THQ know the Wii version’s so detestable that they only sent PS3 / 360 review copy out. It’s often the case.
Blerk said:
Are we still talking about the same game?
morriss said:
There is no “PS3 review copy”.
Blerk said:
And it’s not from THQ either. Hence my question.
pjmaybe said:
Shows how much attention I’ve paid to it!
Why no PS3 review copies then Mike?
morriss said:
Keep up!!
DELAYED
Blerk said:
Well… not so much delayed as ‘not started’, from what I hear.
patlike said:
orly?
morriss said:
+1
Tell, tell.

There’s no conspiracy here, just what I’ve read in the various interviews with Eden. The way they talk about it it just sounds like they’ve done “round about bugger all” on the PS3 version. All this talk about “optimisation, etc.” is just smoke and mirrors – they’ve not started the damn thing.

LOL – Well there’s lovely! At least PS3 owners have been spared one more nasty cross-platform hatchet job.
