Christian Bale rumoured for Snake in MGS movie
According to this MGS Movie Chronicles piece, UK rag Nuts is has rumoured that Christian Bale is to play Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie.
The info apparently comes from an interview with Bale himself. This goes safely filed under “unconfirmed”.

Whilst I think he’d fit the part perfectly, being the lead actor in Batman, Terminator and MGS would maybe be a tad overkill for the actor.
Spread out enough though, it could work.

The rumours been going around the net for a while.
Just sounds like a poor attempt by Nuts to be “cool” and “hip”.
Calling that magazine a rag is being overly generous and nice anyway.

Urgh just imagine him doing the croaky Batman voice but with a bandanna on.
Imagine the movie removing all the humour.
I don’t think Hayter writing the screenplay for it could save it.
