Gamers with Jobs talks to John Carmack about “patent trolls”

Carmack. The Beast. Interviews with “God” Carmack are as rare as bad drum and bass. His special brand of tech-Martian is always worth listening to. Good news, then, that Gamers With Jobs has posted its latest podcast containing, inexplicably, an interview with id’s super-coder.

“We’re very pleased this week to have an interview with John Carmack,” says the site. “Sadly, he doesn’t give us much on Rage, but saves the real rage for patent trolls and the influx of lawyers into the videogame business. The rest of the time we talk about Metal Gear Solid 4, buying into games and your sweet, tender emails.”

Give it a waz, innit. The guy’s a complete legend.
